We are so sorry for your loss. Our pups were at the kennel the same time as Dutch and we had the privilege of walking him. What a sweet soul. xo

oh my heart breaks for you, we too lost our first pup after only 8 months with him and he never hit his 3rd birthday. It's so shocking and unfair. What a sweet boy Dutch was. Run free Dutch, meet all your buddies at the rainbow bridge.

I am so incredibly sorry. My heart stopped when I realized what I was reading. Please accept my sincere and deepest condolences.
The beautiful photographs of Dutch that you have shared with us on this forum over the past year have epitomized the ultimate happiness, joy, and abandon any pup could ever hope for. You gave him such a wonderful life and such love. Although his time was so very, very short, it was incredibly full. I hope you can take comfort in knowing this. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Godspeed handsome Dutch. Thank you sweet boy for sharing your special moments with us.

What a horrific shock for you all. You have my deepest sympathies, and unfortunately you have company, this does happen sometimes, cancer does not discriminate by age.
It's plain to see that Dutch was well loved, and had a wonderful life with you, even tho it was short. I hope you can find some peace in that thought. That's all these beautiful hounds want, to be loved. And he most certainly was.
Run free sweet boy.

What a lovely boy! I am so sorry this happened to you and Dutch. As others have said, he obviously was very much loved and given a wonderful home. It is very hard to deal with cancer, period, but to have it happen at such a young age is extra heartbreaking I think. My thoughts are with you.

OMG Denyse, I am so sorry and in shock myself. Dutch was much to young and full of life to be stricken by this horrible cancer. I am so glad I had the pleasure of meeting him that day at the beach, he was so full of life and happy and had such a ball playing in the water with his pals. He was such a beautiful, big brindle boy and quite the character.
I know how much you loved him and you have your beautiful collar business you made in his honour. Poor Dutch, my heart breaks for him..such a short life but I know he was really loved and happy with you.
Rest peacefully sweet boy... So sad, I'm crying for you!! Take care of yourself and if you need support in any way I'm hear for you. I too lost my heart greyhound to cancer.
You have all your beautiful pictures of Dutch to cherish forever he was quite the handsome model!

OMG What a horrific shock and devastating loss. He was much too young to have to leave. I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am.
Although it's small consolation, he clearly had a glorious--if far too brief--retirement. Thank you for the many wonderful photos that you've posted of him during his time with you.
Godspeed Dutch.

I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. I have always loved the pictures that you have posted of Dutch and the love you had for each other radiated in each photo. My deepest condolences, he was far too young. I'm sure that the short time you had together enriched both your lives and the moments you shared will be treasured forever. Run free Dutch.

OMG I can't believe what I just read. Dutch was Norwood at the kennel if I'm correct. I was there volunteering with my daughter the day you took him home. You two were so happy together, he knew he had found his forever mom. I'm so sorry for your loss. He was way too young to have to leave you.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry to hear this. I can't really believe this. I thought this might be a different dog named, Dutch that it couldn't possibly be this beautiful guy. Deepest condolences to you Denyse. As someone said above, he had such a short but glorious retirement and was so well-loved.
