I'm so sorry to read about your loss. Your photos of Dutch show what a wonderful life he had, as short as it was. I hope you can find some solace in knowing you gave him the fullest, happiest life in his short time here.

I am so sorry for your loss, but I am glad that Dutch was able to stay so active and happy up until the end. I know that that makes his passing sudden, and therefore extra hard for his family. But it also means that almost all of your memories will be of a happy, healthy Dutch - the way he would want to be remembered. Cancer doesn't always work that way. Stay strong. Dutch is running free and pain free over the bridge and in your heart.

Oh gosh, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Like many others I have enjoyed your pictures and updates over the last year. Dutch lived life to it's fullest with you, happiness radiated from him in those shots.

I am so very sorry for the passing of your sweet boy Dutch. Looking at his photos, he reminded me of my Angel Frankie, just a big goofy boy who loved life. For the time he was with you, I hope you know in your heart that Dutch knew how much he was loved and how happy you made every day of his retirement special. What more could any greyhound wish for? Hugs to you ....
Godspeed sweet Dutch ...

I'm so very sorry for your loss and heartbroken for you. Your Dutch (Norwood) was at GRA the same time as our Raj (UCME Warp Speed)- a brindle beauty, too! I was so excited to see he was adopted. I hope that the wonderful memories of your time together will bring you comfort. My thoughts are with you! Kathryn

I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful boy. It breaks my heart to hear these stories, especially when they are so young as Dutch was. It looks like he couldn't have had a better or more fulfilled life than he had with you. He looks like he is on top of the world in your pictures!

I am so sorry for your loss. That somehow seems inadequate, in these cases. He may only have been in your life for a year, but he was well loved and he obviously knew how to give you all of his love as well. It is so unfair that he had to go so soon after you and him became great friends. Keep his memories fresh in your mind and he will never leave you.

What a terrible shock for you. I wish I had words to help, but I simply don't know how to express how terribly sad I feel for you at the loss of your beautiful boy. Thank you so much for sharing you pictures of Dutch with us...his love of life and your love of him shows in every single gorgeous picture. Please take care of yourself during this time of grief.
Run free with the other Angels, Dutch...

Words cannot express the heartfelt sympathy I extend to you. Unfortunately I too know the shock of losing a beloved greyhound with no notice, but I think for you the pain must be so deep as Dutch was so young. I always looked forward to your photo post of Dutch - he had it all, good looks, fantastic earsies and a zest for life goofiness that came clear through every picture. The bond the two of you shared was truly wonderful albeit too short of a time together. Hugs to you during this difficult time and know that we all share your pain and are here to help in anyway we can.

It is always difficult to say goodbye to a beloved 4 legged friend, especially when 1 is so young and full of life... Hearts do not care how long you have known love, only that you had the chance to love and be loved in return. Dutch was such a handsome pup. How lucky he was to have a collar company named for him, created by a Mum who loved him so much she only wanted what was best for him, and when she couldn't find it, she MADE it. Wyn has a Dutch collar, she will now wear it with honour.

We are so sorry for your loss! Run free forever little one. The only consolation I can think of is we were there for them once they stopped working and gave them a fantastic retirement. They leave behind so much love its almost unbearable. This forum is so supportive, its one of the main things that got us through our loss a while back.
