We kept Thunder's name as it suited his personality. He doesn't do anything with grace! I have a couple bruises on the top of my foot right now from a boisterous welcome home last week! With a racing weight of 83 lbs, he's not a lightweight. He is however a true personality. He roos, chatters (his whole body can vibrate with excitement) and talks....I wuv woo gets a "raa raaa roooo". There are 6 races on his page at trackinfo but only 4 with videos. From what we have observed, he didn't feel like leaving the gate until well after the other dogs however once he was running, he did well. It was just hard to close the gap. Well, things haven't changed. We have a large backyard and bunnies are scary. He has no prey drive that we've seen but he loves to run. Anything with fur is cause for concern and a wide berth. I'd love to hear from anyone who had a role in raising and training our boy as I'd love to learn more about what you observed of his early, formative days! Thunder, aka Tee loves: food, car rides, walks, the bed, snuggling between us....getting skinny like a pencil, a pillow or my shoulder under his head, humans and the sofa. When no one is looking denta styx. Shoes, mitts and gloves as well as toys mysteriously move when we're not home however he would never touch a toy while we're around. Causes for concern include: thunder (lol), fireworks, dogs (although once he meets and knows them, they're ok), cats, bunnies, anything with fur. He's a big, beautiful boy and we want to thank everyone involved in raising him and getting him home with us.
