So shocking to read your post of your beloved Max. I have to say that when reading your post there was laughter through my tears at the description of his arrival (friend of a friend at at party) and his frat boy party sounds at night. The love that you felt for Max came through loud & clear through each word and each picture. I will miss his crazy, awesome ear pics and his funny sleeping positions. Another dear soul taken far too young by this dreaded disease that doesn't discriminate in age or species. Hugs to your family, scritches to Tarra during these difficult days. RIP dear Max.

I'm so sorry for your lose of your handsome Max. I know these words only help ease your loss. I loved seeing Max's pictures, especially the signature ear, he will be missed on the forum. So much love and happiness emanates from him in his pictures. Rest in peace sweet boy, you landed with a perfect family who loved your dearly, that's all he could ask for. Hugs to Tarra, I'm sure she is really missing her big brother.

We are so sorry for your loss of Max - he knew the depth of your love until the very end (and beyond). The photos and descriptions of Max had us laughing out loud as well trying to imagine the foghorn/fratboy combination. So funny yet sad at the same time. What a beautiful tribute to the memories you made together. Hugs to you all, especially Tarra as you cope with the loss of your beloved boy.
...We all grieve with each other when we lose one of our greys...

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss of Max. ''what a handsome charismatic boy he was. Such a terrible few weeks you have had and all you have had to handle. I am so glad that Max got to be with you all when he passed. I feel that is absolutely the least we can do or our friends. You have given him the freedom to run with all his friends that have gone before him and we're waiting for him. Those ears were certainly one of a kind.

Wow! I am so sorry for your loss and thank you so much for adding Donna in that. <3 Our hearts are still broken and Cora is being such a great distraction from that situation. But we are very much here for you if you need us. Please don't hesitate to message us.

I'm so sorry to read about the sudden loss of Max. Such a beautiful tribute you wrote about him. I can only imagine the journey he must have taken with you and J to learn of life after the track. He grew and bonded with his new family. I still remember the first time I saw the shredded couch and lack of regret note. I have no doubt there were lots of giggles and laughs with Max's antics. He was one talented hound, not only in racing but in writing. I love the rock love note. I know you must be in shock over the suddenness of Max's illness and as you digest this I hope your memories and stories provide you comfort. Extra scritches for Tarra will help too.
