Here's a video of a greyhound reverse sneezing. It's quite common. Many new adopters are concerned when they see their greyhound doing this, but it's nothing to worry about in most cases.

Ah hah! River does this. I used to worry that it was her choking, or maybe that she was about to vomit, but she didn't stress it so I stopped worrying. Glad to know what it really is. Can a grey that reverse sneezes also forward sneeze?

<snip> Can a grey that reverse sneezes also forward sneeze? Oh, yes. No worries there.

My little Leo has been reverse sneezing since he was a wee lad. Nothing to worry about.

Dash does this too. The first time I thought she had trouble breathing, until I read about reverse sneezing. Good to post it again Karen for new greyhound owners. As allways you are a wealth of information.

The second day that I had Onyx he did that! I was SO CONCERNED that I posted in a couple of the greyhound groups that I belong to on FB and they directed me to that video. He only ever did it that time and the day after and not since. It is pretty freaky though when you first observe it! Good video to watch for sure!

I just assumed the boys had something stuck up their noses, like food or a toy! Yes, they are that much of a pair of goober-heads that they get things stuck up there Good to know what it really is...
