Rene and I went up to visit Tinastroops on the weekend. Icarus had a seizure just as we were going out the door so we opted to take him with us. None of my dogs have ever been around cats so we planned to leave him in the car while we made our quick visit. Tina insisted we bring him in and she would put kitty away in the spare room. We weren't in the house five minutes when Icarus does his "explore and invade" the privacy of all members of the home. Rene followed him while I chatted. Next thing I hear is "Jen, I think Icky's cat safe!" Tina and I went running to the back room where Icky was contentedly sniffing around and kitty was walking near him. I am still in awe and I'm glad it worked out okay. What a fright that was. So folks, this is the wrong way to cat test your dog... do not attempt the former. LOL

Um, was Icarus one of your pups that you thought was not cat safe? (Just curious.)
And how on earth did he get in or the cat get out of the room?

I wasn't sure if any of mine were cat safe. I have never let them near or around a cat. LOL The cat was gated into the room so she managed to climb over or jump it. We had a good laugh about it.
