With so many greyhounds being inflicted with osteosarcoma, I've always believed that the culprit in starting this dreadful disease is something with a common denominator; the air, diets/water, medications, vaccinations, etc.,something that is so readily available in everyday life to so many hounds. I came across this article called "5 Ways to Prevent Cancer in Dogs", the article has some very good points, easy to follow. The digital magazine, Dogs Naturally, is published every week and always has a variety of excellent articles. www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/prevent-cancer-dogs/?inf_contact_key=83627f326d2d194eb59b57cb012998810d8775cb3261f2befd957bd00b100194

Thank you for this article and link. My sentiments exactly. It is always the best route to prevent rather than treat. We live in a world swamped with carcinogens... it is good to know some of the specific ones which we can elect to avoid for the safety of our precious pups. (My grandfather's voice, from so long ago, so often echoes in my ear..."the closer we exist to Nature, the better we are").
