After a weeks wait with an extra food bowl, doggie bed, the crate set up, and doug wondering why we were doing all these things... Rosie is home! She's still a little sore from her surgery on friday, but she is such a sweetheart! so bubbly and outgoing already... she's standing her ground to doug... not sure who's going to come out on top. We gave her and doug a flea bath as soon as we came home. and now they're both fast asleep on the doggie beds in our room. so thrilled! Attachments:

Welcome home Rosie! Interested to hear who wins out and becomes the leader.. I'm betting Rosie might win that draw.. in any event, they are lucky to have each other.

Congratulations! To all of you.... We are getting a couple home this weekend after recent surgery. What shampoomdid you use for the fleas? And did you protect the wound in any way?

thanks everyone! we're improving on the stairs so far, and she's learning where not to potty.. lol. her and doug are keeping their distances so far.
renaldo, we just picked up flea shampoo from the pet store down the street, zodiac brand i believe and bought spray for the carpets/furniture. We put a little bit of vaseline on the incision, however its right at the base of her belly, between her hind legs so it was relatively easy to keep the area dry.

She looks very pretty. Moo moos are so lovely.
I'm glad all the greyhounds I've had were fully healed when I got them so I didn't have to worry about any incisions.
