A local raw food manufacturer has asked if I'm able to get rid of some overstock at a deeply discounted price! It's $1.25/lb or $1.10/lb depending on the size tub you buy. Also ground green tripe in 1lb containers for $1/lb. This is 100% Canadian product and it's all packaged in the full retail packaging. It's a higher end product normally retailing $4.99/lb and up. There is also cat food available $1.25/lb in 1/2lb containers.
If you are interested, please email me or PM for the full details and price sheet. I'm expecting to pick up on Feb. 13th so Cambridge pick up on that day for all orders.
Alternatively, it can be shipped anywhere in Ontario for $50, no matter the order size, so if you are far away and maybe want to order a large amount, that can be arranged.

Oh.....that sounds SO tempting. I will have to see as Cambridge is a bit of a drive for me, and if it a weekday it would be pretty much impossible to due work. Do you have a lot in stock?

Hi redhead - I don't have the exact numbers but I think there is quite a bit of some things, not as much of the others. There are only 2 types of 3lb tubs available.

I picked up an 80lb order from quietstorm on Monday night. I have fed raw before for a few months last year, before getting fed up with inconvenience, mess and cost. It didn't help that Ryder lost 2 upper molars and couldn't chew bone either. Alas, we went back to kibble and they have been doing ok since. I could not pass up this deal when I heard about it (thanking Pauline over and over for remembering to include me on sale offers) and placed an order. We at this point are not feeding it exclusively and Pauline recommended we feed it as one meal, and kibble as one meal because they are metabolized differently. Made sense to me!
I fed the ground up mix for the first time on Tuesday night (they get kibble for breakfast). They ate it with DELIGHT. I would LOVE to feed this for the rest of their lives, but I wouldn't be able to at the regular price. This hands down beats the "traditional" raw feeding method, especially for people that don't like the mess or the time it takes to prepare a raw meal. I ordered both beef and lamb, so far only having tried the beef (them, not me). Again they were fed raw dinner last night, but I think I might just exclusively feed it until I run out of this good stuff. It's a shame my freezer cannot hold more than 80 lbs. How often can one say "I feed my dogs for .27 cents a serving!" At this point it's even cheaper than kibble (and far better for them). Stool so far is good to go, but because I am not feeding it exclusively, I cannot say for certain. I will know once we stop feeding kibble (their breakfast this morning was their last kibble meal for a while I have decided).
Great product, just thaw, weigh it out and serve. Great service from Pauline. Thumbs up everywhere. I'll have to ask my mom for some freezer room at her place for the next round of orders!!

That is awesome it is working out for you. I don't know the product you are using, but I sometimes buy a ground mix that is made by a fairly local company. I also can't afford to feed it solely, but it is fantastic! There isn't even a comparison when you compare it to the commercial "raw" frozen food (which strangely, is usually an odd brown colour ). I make up by own mix like this sometimes and supplement it with cheap chicken/pork meaty bones. Making it yourself can be cheaper but it is a bit of work. I try to make it in large batches and freeze it. Is all the food sold, or is there any left?

I understand there is more available. Not sure when the next order is being taken, but don't think you'll have a problem ordering on the next round.
The bone is ground up pretty finely. I know I would have a hard time making something like this from scratch. As much as I like the boys chewing on bone, I prefer this ground down version for meals. Less messy for them to eat too. When I want them to chew and clean their teeth I give them a pigs ears and off they go.
