Crafty's First Injury Who? Someone very crafty indeed What? A sprained elbow (the vet said so) Where? Evil basement laminate flooring total wipeout Why? That rope bone is soooo cool! When? The other night when the invisible dog monster came out. How? "Well. I figured out that the rope toy was for me. I threw it around. I did my wizzygig spin with a little run and I slipped off the carpet onto the slippery laminate floor. YEEEOOOOOWWWWWP! My leg! Then mom hugged me and checked me over and carried me upstairs. For some reason, she put the fun rope toy away and I got to meet the vet. She gave me liver and metacam. Yay!" Here is Crafty after her wild moment with the rope toy. I put the couch cushion on the floor with an old blanket and she flopped on the ground and put her leg on the cushion as if to say "Looooook! This is what hurts." Obviously, I felt bad for her injury, but I love how this clever little girl had this interesting way to show us her hurt leg. Oh! Of course she is totally fine today.

Poor little baby. Have some more liver and remember to milk it for all you can get!

Yes. It was a tough moment. She milked it. Today she is doing great. I am rolling out a bigger carpet downstairs.

People wonder why we have large mats on our kitchen floor and carpeting in the rest of the house. Glad to hear dear Crafty is OK. Sometimes they get a little "sting" and really put on an act.

I looked her in the eye and really felt for her and couldn't help but giggle because it was adorably clever. Smartie! Yeah. My friends laugh at and with me about my dog accoutrements. I have spent my adult life with dog beds, dog blankets, and all sorts of paraphernalia. Yes. Even carpets that no one else would need. . I wouldn't have it any other way. Yeup and today she is one hundred percent herself.
