Yay!!! It's in my calendar already. rhyddpe: The GRA picnic is a gathering of GRA adopters and their hounds. There is no charge for entry. Donations of items useful to GRA (the list will be in the announcement) are appreciated. Vendors are on site with grey-related items (collars, coats). Food is available. Perhaps most important, the kennel is open so that attendees can add to their families.

Typically, donations requested are blankets, x-large sized crates (much needed right now), treats, dog food, laundry soap.
The event usually lasts all day (I believe it was 10 - 5 last year; I think I didn't leave until near 7). There is a fundraising barbeque and a few vendors will have set up to sell their wares. Last year, there was a "garage sale" table where you could make a minimum suggested donation for certain items. There will be raffles of various items; I know for sure that Tinastroops and I will have a couple of our painted dog feeder stands. Of course, the kennel is open all day for adoptions for those with wandering eyes. Tee hee.
