I reckon the girl dogs that Gordie plays with are bad influences on him.
Gordie has always been Mr. Clean. he would rather walk around puddles and would never dream of getting dirt on his shiny fur or paws.
The other day I turned him out in the backyard around lunch time for a play date with the girls (a boarder collie and a lab) then I went in to have a quick coffee with the girls mummy while the kids were playing.
about a half hour later we went to call them in and all three of them were covered head to tail in dripping wet mud. I went to grab Gord and he ran off and proceeded to do his best little piggy demonstration rolling around in a big ol' mud puddle, his boarder collie girlfriend joined in and the lab stood looking at them like "hey ummm, i think we're in trouble".
I didn't even think to get pictures ... we walked straight over to the groomers place because there was no way my little piggy dog was coming in the house.
It's funny the things he's learning from being around the girls all the time. before we moved here Gordie was always more like a cat but now he's starting to come out of his shell and really act like a dog. I'm so proud of my little man but there's no way he's getting backyard time until it dries up more.

Doggie mud wrestling 101 has been taught to Gordie by his girlfriends - how cute is that!
(I can say how cute is that because it wasn't my dog covered from nose toe tail in mud!) How lucky that you live so close to a groomer.

Gordie must have looked hilarious all covered in mud. At least he has friends that have the same interests as him. And how lucky you are to have a groomer you can just walk to.
