I have not been giving them lately, because I ran out and haven't bought anymore, but my girls love raw turkey necks (I know ) but I really think that when they get them regularly, they do wonders for their teeth. I had them cut in half for them and gave them each a half about once a week. I usually spread a big comforter out on the floor and when they were done, I just gathered it up and threw it right in the washing machine with some bleach. I had bought a bunch from a turkey place when they were on sale and froze them. I found out that they come right back up if they eat them partially frozen, so after that I made sure they were totally thawed first!

Okay last night I gave Tyson a Dentabone. And he got the big D. I was reading about bully sticks and was wondering if anyone knew where to get them in London or Stratford? What exactly are they? I looked them up on the web but they really don't tell you what they are. Are they just beef tendons? Feel free to call me stupid for not knowing but Ty has great teeth and I want to keep them that way and I need to find something to help with this. Thanks Tara

London, you can get them at petsmart but they are usually out of stock. The best place is Petacular downtown on Richmons just south of oxford, they always have tons!
Also most local pet stores do carry bully sticks, they just micht not be called "bully sticks"

Hotwire got the big D from the Dentastix as well. Not sure what to use for him, everything seems to react with his tummy. Hope gets a knuckle bone, but I have to scrub her molars by hand (she has only bottom molars, three of them). I find using cheese-cloth works better than the doggy toothbrushes. BTW, I don't think you want to know what the bully-sticks are made of! (Think of a cow that used to be a bull! )

Ummm yuck, I grew up on a farm and I know how that happens not nice. Makes you wonder why the dogs like them so much. Thanks for the info. Tara
