Hi,
So my questions are starting to form in my head about raw feeding. One of my biggest ones is, for dogs that have a chicken allergy, were you able to feed raw chicken? Leo has a zero tolerance to chicken (even tried dehydrated chicken breast) and ends up with bad gas and water poops.
I'm sure I'm going to have many more questions as I go.
Thanks

Hogan had to have zero chicken when he was a kibble dog (puppy to about 9 months when we switched to raw). Once we switched, I still stayed away from chicken until I saw all signs of the allergies gone (mainly chewing on his feet). Eventually I started adding it for him maybe once a week. Now he eats chicken as often as I feed it - I don't need to keep track of which protein he's having as he can tolerate them all.

I would just not feed chicken at all - there's lots of other stuff to feed - no point in confusing the issue and you can always sneak up on it in a year from now when he's nice and stable...
