At Univ of Guelph, I am not sure how many know about this and so I thought I would post it for all to read. Posting from the Site: Pet Trust Special Projects -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Over the next five years, the OVC Pet Trust will raise 10 million dollars to fund the first animal cancer centre in Canada, a place where clients can be assured that their ailing companions will receive the most advanced and effective treatments available. The clinic will staff and train international leaders in animal oncology – people not only dedicated to the health and well-being of your pet, but to ongoing interdisciplinary and collaborative research that will increase understanding and treatment of cancer in pets, and ultimately benefit human health as well. When you make a donation to OVC Pet Trust, your contribution will help make the cancer centre a reality and ensure that other pets will live longer and healthier lives. You’ll also benefit from a charitable tax receipt. www.ovc.uoguelph.ca/friends_support...L_PROJECTS.SHTM

That's awesome.
My vet, after Cody died, made a donation in Cody's name to the OVC Pet Trust, which really touched me. I'm happy to hear that they are taking this direction.
