Hey group, does anyone have any suggestions for tender elbows? Cali's one elbow is pink and a bit scabby from pressure points and lying in the crates at GRA. I put a bit of pollysporin on it but id like it to dry up and get a good new layer of skin growing over it, any suggestions? Jonathan

Chase had some pretty dry cracked skin when i got him too. I just put some vaseline on the really dry spots and gave him a soft comfy bed and blanket. He healed up pretty quickly! As well, I think the vitamin E I started to fill in his coat and stop dry skin helped as well!

Curel hand lotion (the green bottle I believe it has cucumber extract in it)

Vitamin E. You can use the capsules (too messy for me) or get the ointment made by webber. If your pupper is inclined to lick it off, put it on before a walk. ETA: That's what my vet recommended for Betsy's elbows. It worked beautifully.

Time. (Vitamin E or an unscented hand lotion would work too) She'll have soft surfaces at home so overtime the elbow will heal up.
