Okay tyson got into the lid from a jar of spaghetti tonight, licked it clean. I know it is upsetting his tummy because he is a very stinky boy and the big d is certainly to follow. I forget who told me or if I misunderstood but does pepto bismal help with the big D? I happen to have the caplets, if it does help how much should I give him (1 or 2 caplets). Thanks Tara

We give our greys Pepto Bismal when their stomachs are upset and/or have the big D. We use the tablets. They are much easier to administer. Put them in cheese or bread with peanut butter. We give them one or two at a time if it is really bad
Good Luck!

If it were me, I'd let it run it's course. If he starts to salivate a lot, that's a sign of an upset tummy. Then I'd be more willing to give pepto.

I'm with Jiffer. I'd wait to see whether he actually needs the pepto. Kiki loves it over sticky rice...weirdo. Hope your hound at least enjoyed it!
