Hi guys. DH and I are currently fostering Fugitive. He's a smallish guy (see the pic of him and Dave below), with bunny-soft red brindle fur. This sweet boy needs a home (along with the 60 or so others at Bill's right now ) So if you're looking to add a new hound (or second... or third), now's a good time! Fuge really does have a beautiful, photogenic face, with "worried" eyes. He's a doll! As you can see, Fuge likes to look right at the camera... Scritches are good..... For those of you worried about the space requirements of adding a greyhound, Fuge is a small male. This pic doesn't do the size difference justice, but here he is with our Dave. That's Fuge on the right. Last but not least... what would a photoshoot be without a few glamour shots? Contact Bill if these pics tug at your heart!!

What beautiful pics. He really is a sweetheart. He stole my heart and my cleaning cloth last week, have a feeling he has greyt personality to boot.
There are so many wonderful pups at the kennel. If you are thinking a adopting please give Bill a call.

Fuge is a wonderful boy! Even though he's young, he seems quite docile.

The pics of Fugitive are gorgeous. His resemblance to Dave is uncanny. Fugitive is SOOO cute... I hope some more pics of the fostered pups get posted. Did anyone take Jessie? Jessie is with me. I'll try to get some decent pics and post them. She's a very good girl, and would fit into just about any good home.

How IS Fugitive? We thought about taking him but he was so shy....shy's not the right word. Completely unresponsive and withdrawn. He wouldn't go with us, just stare straight ahead, frozen. It's good he's getting to be with some people, get over his frights.
We think about him sometimes and hope that someone with more time and patience than us will snatch him up. He IS gorgeous!

After living with Fuge for almost a couple of weeks, DH and I think we can better tell the folks on this forum about his personality. You are right... shy is not the right word. Fuge is not overly outgoing, but I wouldn't describe him as withdrawn. I can tell you that he likes to observe/study his surroundings before coming to any conclusions regarding whether a situation is good or bad. He doesn't overreact to things. It's almost like he's trying to analyze things He does take a little while to warm up to things/people. We are just now starting to see the first signs him trying to play with our other boys. However, because he isn't a clingy dog, DH and I think he'd likely be ok as a single dog. He also likes to follow DH or I around the house... just because. He reminds us a little of Dave (pictured above). Of our boys, he seems to look up to Dave. And, seeing Fuge follow Dave up and down the hallway is really cute. Some qualities about Fuge that DH and I really like? - very laid back - no signs of aggression/dominance of any kind - Has a really adorable tendancy to run away from you if he thinks you are mad at him (much the same way a child will run away to avoid being disiplined) - OK, he is REALLY cute... and that soft fur. Despite being almost three, he still looks very much like a puppy Thanks for asking!!
