Wednesday this week was a little difficult for me. It marked the three month mark since Icarus left us. I've found myself feeling weepy off and on. It has left me feeling a little reminiscent so I hope you don't mind me sharing some pictures of him. I guess it doesn't help that the White Stripes (it's a rock band) has published a new song called Icky-thump. Every time I hear it, I think of him. One of my fav. artistic shots: the Brindle Family Family Photo... Uber showed up a year after this one was taken. Our Christmas 2006 Family Photo Lovin on Atlas One of our wintertime Springbank Walks Modelling his Hoodie Out for a winter walk: Icarus in orange, Atlas in lime. I always loved that ear of his. The Loveseat just wasn't big enough... he spilled over onto the couch Mom is more comfortable anyway... On Ren and my Wedding Day... Ying and Yang Unimpressed with his snazzy Spiderman PJs.. though he realized rather quickly how warm and cozy they are and then didn't mind them. Snuggling with Uber and Echo... it's a greyhound sandwich! Snoozing on the couch.. the Orb in this shot gets me everytime. I took four shots of this exact photo... this is the only one of four that has an orb.... His favourite pastime One of my fav pictures of him.

Tears are falling. Understand what you're feeling. There are days when all I want is to be able to nuzzle Heidi's mohawk, sadly, like you pictures and memories are all we have now. Wonderful pics and precious memories. See you tomorrow.

Thanks everyone He has such an album of photos too (First child syndrome). I'm glad I have all the memories with him. I can look back on all of the pictures and remember the happy times we had together... like how he was spokesdog for Tim Horton's Iced Capps.. how he loved those.

Greyt pics! You are lucky to have so many awesome pictures of your baby Icky. I have but a small handful of my first child, Tex; they were all on the computer and the d**n thing crashed and died!
BTW I saw your "whispering Icarus" on GT - beautiful!
