Hey I just recently adopted my first Greyhound, and getting ready to bring her home in the next few days. Any tips for the first day and the coming weeks. Any tips are much appreciated as it's my first experience. Thanks!
Brenden.

Congratulations on your new arrival - the journey is about to begin and it is the best!! There is a wonderful article on this website: No Fear No Pain by Kathleen Gilley it is so informative and a "must read" as it will help you understand your new pup. I believe it is under the title "New To Greyhounds" Please keep us posted and have fun!!! These pups bring so much joy into our lives and they ask for nothing.

Brenden, I don't have any specific advice beyond that fantastic article other than to enjoy your first weeks with your new family member! Those first days are so special. Can't wait to see your artwork! Janette and the crazy Quints

Congratulations! Great reading suggestions above. As those articles will share, keep in mind they are totally out of their element. They come from a schedule focused environment and all the things about a house are new. Each of our boys were uncomfortable with the big space in our house. We have an open concept and high ceilings. I created a smaller space and they settled down. Lots of patience is required as they learn. And it's amazing how quickly they learn and adapt to home life.
Enjoy every moment!! They are beautiful souls.
