I know I am always posting how crazy my dogs are, but I swear they are possessed!!! Today at my mom's Tigger was going on a rampage through her yard and Slammed face first into her fence...Then turned around and stared at me like nothing happened... Thats not where his craziness of today ends tho. He was rubbing up against Daddy and we always tap him on the butt and scratch him there, and today for some reason it sent him on a rampage. He was barking, growling, jumping, running, all at once.. I am talking the funniest thing I have ever seen. Tigger is usually such a calm dog, gets excited only when the leash comes out... never like this... Is it the weather, or what???

What a character, running into the fence is common I hope he is all right - when they start to run they put their sites past what is directly in front of them and actually do not see what is right in front of their nose, hence running into the fence - he was concentrating on something else

He was fine, a little embarassed I am sure, but didn't stop him from doing it later. He also kept going back to the same spot to see what stopped him.

Welcome to Greyhounds in the cooler weather!
For some reason this phenomenon happens every year around this time. Mine are the same way. Even Orion, who wouldn't dare let Mum catch him playing, has been playing with me. Yesterday, I had Icarus outside on lead (our fence goes up next week; Icarus is still limping and "sore" BTW; at least thats what he leads us to believe) and he was trying to run and play with Echo. I had to nix it before someone decided to pull my arm off.
Just wait for the first snow! They get even worse in that stuff. I think they like how cold if feels!

i've noticed that about my guys too - they're much livlier these past couple of days - but i think with them it's a combination of their mouths feeling better and the weather - when i went out to bring them in from their morning run, rainy went crazy and started running figure eights around the run! - sunny wasn't quite up for joining in yet, but i can tell he's getting closer - oh, and is is usual for greys to wait until you're out of sight before they start to play? - my guys often just stand there until i leave and i watch them from around the corner - when they can no longer see me, they take off running but not until then - weird -

Often I will hear stomping in the family room, but when I look... everyone is "sleeping". Turn my back again, "stomp, stomp, stomp" LOL
