Apollo's personality seems to be coming out more and more. He is funny and very cute. He has peed once this week when we left him alone (that is a lot of progress). When we go out, we limit access to the front hall and leave his bed and a special treat for him. For some reason, if we are gone for more that 4 hours (the most we've left him is 4 hours), he has peed. Besides that, he is a great dog and so sweet. He is the "talk" of our neighborhood. We are glad that we kept him. He deserves to have a good life. Thanks so much for checking in. Alex and Erika PS. Hope your guys are doing well.

I'm happy to hear Apollo is doing well! Hopefully with time you'll be able to leave him longer and longer. When we first took Zooks home we had some problems with him as well, but now he's fully adjusted. He had a lot of problems with separation anxiety, which cost me a cd, pair of shoes and so many rolls of toilet paper, paper towels and boxes of kleenex. Luckily he stayed away from the computers and the expensive things! It's so great to see them once they adjust and their personality comes out, it makes it worth all the trouble during the adjustment period! If it helps any, the second adjusts easier than the first, at least in our case! Take care and I hope things keep getting better!
