How many of you used to have a spare room/office and now have this: Thank goodness our out-of-town relatives prefer hotels for some unknown reason. Obviously Hector and Quincy don't have a problem with our lumpy, hard, old futon, LOL!

Cute pictures, but count yourself lucky. I have one bedroom condo so Hobbes takes up our entire bed. I think my DH and I should go to a hotel so his royal majesty can properly stretch out. lol

After you get Hobbes tucked in for the night you just roll out the mattress for you and your DH. ;D Hector doesn't like our bed, that's Quincy's domain. We don't crate Hector at night anymore and the first couple of nights I woke up to hear Quincy growling because Hector had his head on the bed. Silly twit really doesn't know he's a midget trying to boss around a horse. He's lucky Hector's happy with his bed in the hallway or the futon.

LMAO - Yup that is about the sum of it! Were lucky we have 4 bedrooms and the csement has a futon too. So all humans and dogs have a bed to themselves! LOL

I guess I am lucky. Valerie has shown no interest in sleeping on my bed. Matt, the bouvier, has taken over the foot of the bed after my two old girls died. One had the foot and the other part of my pillow. It was quite cozy as I have a single bed. Now it is just Matt and he obligingly moves when I need room for my feet.

LOL Love it!
In our house, it's the couches that disappear. Fortunately, we made sure we have enough room for everyone.

My gang right now has pretty much any place they choose, but I am looking at converting one room as a doggy bedroom since I am going to be having surgery in December I want my bed clean and hairless and free from bouncing dogs wanting to wake me up or trying to hog all the bed space or being head butted by Maya when she is in a playful mood, I know I am going to miss having them snuggling beside me , but don't wish to risk prolonging my recovery either . I was able to take a 3 day vacation earlier this month, drove my son nuts phoning to see how they were doing especially Maya but they handled my absence well so at least one less worry.

Phoebe has complete domination of my bed during the day. She also owns it for about 75% of the night too She used to be a couch potatoe, but then we got a new couch and she just moved into my bedroom.
