I'm glad the surgery went well and that he's home. I hope he feels like himself soon.

@ sarahjean66 Honestly I would get Rosie in to a good vet and make sure you ask questions/get a referral until you are satisfied. I wish I had pursued the issue with Slappy's eyes, then we may not have had this result. It make just be ulcerations that will heal with meds but it's so much better to be safe and get it checked. When it started it was just a fogginess in the corneas but although it cleared up in the left eye the right eye got worse and the fog became more dense. Please let me know how you make out! Slappy is doing well, the incision is quite itchy and he has to wear the cone whenever I can't be actively watching him. He seems resigned to it and doesn't protest when I put it on him. Stitches come out in 7 days and we will see how he does then.

I'm so happy to hear Slappy is through the surgery and is home with his peeps. It warms my heart to see what love you have for your boy.
Scritches to Slappy. Heal and go hair quickly little boy.

Whew! Glad to hear he's home and on the mend, despite the cone of shame. I had to admit, when I saw your post I immediately skimmed to the smiley face before I could bring myself to read it all! So good to hear he's doing well!
