Thanks for the link Deb. It seems more and more veterinarians/labs are becoming involved in canine cancer research which is a good thing. I heard that in the canine world alone, 1 in 3 dogs comes down with some form of cancer and in greyhounds, it's 1 in 5 that develops cancer. Those numbers are scary.

Scary indeed. Nobody people or animals, no matter their station in live, is safe from this horrible disease. Thank goodness for all the researchers who are working to find a cure for it for all living creatures. People and animals

Wow, 1 in 5 are solemn stats, Sherri. I know that Bonnie's dad died at the age of 9 from lymphoma. We all hope for the best, but I prepare for the worst by living well with her now. I try making happy and loving memories because in the end, that's all we'll have. Wouldn't it be nice to live long enough to see a cure.
