Sweet Lola, she sort of nudged her way into our hearts. We had lost Holstein and went up to GRA totally broken hearted and found Ramone. Then Bill said hey have a look at this little girl who needs to be rehomed and that was it, she came along for the ride too! It was going to be 3 years in Febuary that we had her and we really thought we'd have more time. Today she suddenly couldn't walk after jumping up to go outside and xrays shockingly showed a severe shoulder fracture, and further examination showed bone cancer. Too much for her old body to deal with. She was regal, and funny, and sweet and we will miss her with all our hearts. Run free sweet Lola, you will be sadly missed.

So saddened to read of the passing of Lola. I remember your posts of bringing Ramone & Lola home and thinking what a loving, kind hearted person you were to open your home to two hounds after your loss of Holstein. Albeit a short time, I am positive that the time Lola spent with your family were the happiest days of her retirement. She was such a pretty little girl. Run pain free dear Lola with all the other Bridge Angels. Scritches to Ramone & hugs to you during this difficult time.

I'm so sorry that your lovely girl had to leave so soon and so suddenly. I too remember your decision to go to GRA after your untimely loss of Holstein. Lola was so lucky to be able to go home with you. I wish she could have stayed much longer.
Godspeed Lola.

You gave Lola a wonderful home and lots of love, and that's all they ask for.
Take care of yourselves in the wake of this tremendous shock, I imagine Holstein welcoming your girlie to the bridge.

craftcrafter ... how sorry I am to read about your adorable Lola. I remember Holstein well and the trip you made to GRA to get Ramone and Lola. I realize she wasn't with you long but please remember you gave her all she ever needed and that was a Forever Home with lots of love. And she had that wonderful companionship of Ramone which was special to her as well. Hugs to you and your family and Ramone too.
Godspeed sweet Lola.

Having lost 3 dogs suddenly/unexpectedly I know it's a terrible blow. The way I coped was knowing that I loved them every day they were with me and continue to do so to this day.
I bet you gave her a wonderful nearly 3 years and that she will remain in your hearts forever.
