Well here she is....Emily's first car ride to London She just turned 8 years old (May 23, 2005) According to Grehound Data, Emily raced 54 times at Flagler (in Florida I believe)and had 12 wins from 2007-2008. She then went on to her second career of Motherhood and had 2 litters of 17 puppies in total in 2009 (10) and 2011 (7). I suspect there will be a third litter to show up on Greyhound Data as that litter gets registerd. When I was eating my breakfast this morning I realized that she is the "youngster" of my animals - everyone else is double digits (Maverick the horse is 16, Daisy & Bernie, my cats, are 17 & 10). Looking forward to many years together.

She's absolutely gorgeous. I think she's smiling in anticipation of the incredible retirement she's about to enjoy.

Hi Carla!! I am so excited for you and Emily!! She really is one fantastic little girl!! I do have a contact who has given me a bit of information on Emilia. She is from the third litter Emily had, and is the only puppy. I am waiting to find out when Emilia was born, and who her dad is. Apparently, when Emily had only one puppy, and a very small one, it was decided that she would not be bred again. I figure age was also a factor. But Emily seems so young!! I look at her and think she could be just three or four!!

Carla, Emily is just gorgeous. She seems so relaxed, enjoying all this attention that has come her way, which by the way, she so deserves. She's been quite the busy little girl during her young 8 years ... racing and breeding. I know you two will have a wonderful life together ... lots of fun, lots of adventures and lots of love. Looking so forward to seeing more photos and updates.

After litters of 10 and 7 I'm not surprised her last litter was only ONE. Good for her though - she was retired to her couch at a fairly young age which means you should have her for quite a few years. She really doesn't look her age - such a happy looking lady. Well done Carla and Emily. Best wishes for many years together.
