For any silent lurkers out there on the forum, everyone is welcome to attend the picnic - whether you own a grey or not. It is a wonderful way to speak one on one with grey owners and learn so much about the breed. I presently don't have a grey at home and due to traveling this summer have to wait until the fall to bring another ones home so I am going to the picnic to get my greyhound therapy! (and of courses to socialize and catch up with forum friends) I'm sure a few of your forum friends will have a spare pooch or two for you to get your therapy/fix . Btw, did you pluralize "one" in your last sentence on purpose? And for those lurkers, yes, there's nothing greyhound people love more than talking about their dogs! And nothing greyhounds love more than some attention and ear/back scritches. Well, ok, then there's Riggin who takes food over anything. If he can cage some food AND ear scritches at the same time he considers himself in Heaven. Be warned though, he makes very lewd sort of sounds when you hit the right ear scritch spot. I'm SO looking forward to the picnic and seeing everybody! (special *shout out* to the couple I met yesterday with their grey at Global Pet, looking forward to seeing you guys!)
