Zippy cannot, and I mean CANNOT start his walk walking forward. Seriously, he is bouncing and bounding backward all the way to the road. Out the door, to the gate (try opening a gate with 3 dogs in tow and him bouncing like Tigger only backwards!), up the little hill, across the drive and to the road. Once we get to the road he's the perfect gentleman. Walks at your side at your pace. No pulling, no cross overs, no tripping you. But geeze, getting him to the road is a job! With him, Priss and our little rescue Yorkie, Ginger (who is blind) it can be a challenge!!! Love you to bits Stinky Butt but can you give Mom a break and just walk nice the whole time? I am definitely going to have to try to get a video - it is quite comical

Sounds like a handful. I know my guy gets so excited when he knows he is going for a walk that he tires himself out before we even get the leash on. I can't imagine with three dogs.
I have to say that I smile in spite of myself, because they take such pleasure in the smallest things. I think they are just grateful for any little thing.

I hate to tell you this, but Cal bounces around almost that much. She'll be 13 in December.

It must quite comical watching you and 3 pups trying to get up to the road. Zippy sure takes his walkies quite seriously! At least you know by his bouncing around that he's happy (no, elated) to be going out. So cute ....

This thread is worthless without a vid, just sayin' The sooner, the better. Sounds like a riot! LOL - Will have to wait until hubby is home! Definitely not possible to take a vid on my own with all the antics going on! I am getting better at the "capture". I let Zip and Priss outside first, then get Ginger's leash on then get theirs prepped for Zippy's re-entry to the house. As long as I can get the collar on during re-entry it doesn't take me 5 minutes of fighting off bouncing, play bows & barks and body slams! And when he is really excited (believe it or not, he does get more excited at times!) he is shaking like a leaf and chattering up a storm. Such a silly boy I do keep trying to tell him that if he would just settle down and let me get the collar and leash on him we could get on our way faster, but he just doesn't want to listen to reason Wouldn't trade them for the world
