Dog food recall including Kirkland, TOTW, etc.: www.dogfoodadvisor.com/dog-food-recall/diamond-dog-food-recall-expands-again/I know there's another thread about this but in the title it just says "Kirkland" and I wanted to make sure other people see it, because Leo did have a lot of GI problems and the Kirkland food he ate was within the timeline of the recall. He's been on Iams for a couple of bags now, and doing much better. He might be more sensitive than other dogs to Salmonella.

Thanks, Monique I'm noticing that salmonella crops up often enough in dry, bagged dog food to make it a bit disconcerting. I would like to know why, exactly, a bag of dog food becomes contaminated.

Well this might explain why Toby was having GI problems a couple of weeks ago, and the Vet couldn't find anything in the 'sample' to explain it. We've finished that bag of Kirkland Lamb, Rice & Veggies, and are into a new bag. I'll have to check the code and date tonight when I get home just in case.
Thank you VERY much for the heads up.
