Hello everyone, my name is Roch Frappier and I am new to the forum. I would like to either organize or participate in greyhound events or meetings/walks. My geographical area is Chatham, which is about an hour from either Windsor or London. Are there any members in my area or do I have to travel over an hour to meet other greyhound dogs and owners.

Sorry Roch, not in your area. Hang in though because I know there are tons of people down that way.

Hi Roch! I am in Amherstburg and willing to go up your way or maybe we could meet somewhere in between. Would be interested in what you are planning.

We are in Guelph, welkome to visit though,.meeting with other greyhounds is nice. We made a point of Dash meeting all kinds of dogs in dog parks and it worked out well. She is well socialized and loves it. To us this is more important than her meeting other greyhounds, although when we do see one at the dog park it is instant regognision and we do love it.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
There is a woman - who is a vet or vet tech - who recently scooped up a grey from Bill's. She is a Chathamite. I will try to get more details for you.

My idea is to start small and if there is enough local interest, I would love to orgnise a walk at a park or even a good pack run in a closed in area. Fun for the dogs and social for the owners. My wife says I'm a great idea man, but not always great follow through.

Baysil on the forum is from Sarnia, and although I live in Shelburne, I grew up in Sarnia and am back there all the time, especially in the summertime. I would be up for getting together for a grey run when I'm around.
