Hi all, I did not check the forum ahead of time and we went to Springbank on Saturday. Cleo was looking forward to seeing her friends but she did not seem too upset. Just less to sniff.
It looks like the weather is going to be nice this weekend. Would anyone like to get together at the park on Saturday November 17th at 2:30?

That sounds good to us. We'll miss the Dec. walk as it is the day of our family Christmas. Count on us to be there.

what should we plan if the weather is bad on Saturday? It looks yucky (weathernetwork as of Thursday night...) Should we say rain date Sunday at 2:30?

Sunday would be fine with us. Sounds like Sat could be nasty. Will keep an eye on this site for farther info.

According to the WeatherNetwork, the snow is supposed to move through this afternoon, however, there is a 40% chance of snow or rain tomorrow with a high of 3ยบC. If Sat is not nice, then we'll be there Sunday

Is this a monthly walk? Is it only greyhounds and their owners?
We could maybe make it on Sunday.

Yes we do have this walk monthly. It is usually the second Saturday of each month. Since last Saturday was missed because of another event, we are just making it up cause we miss the get together and sometimes winter weather does not cooperate. Although the walk is usually a gaggle of greys...anyone is welcome.
As of 11:40pm Friday night it looks like 60% chance of rain/snow on Saturday afternoon. Sunday is sunny with 0% chance. I will check back here tomorrow to see what everyone thinks...

Jen, can we get tickets for the fundraiser at the walk? If so, I will bring some $$

Thanks for the info Canuck. The reason I asked who could come is that it would be easier if I could bring my doodle as well. He's very friendly and I feel mean leaving him home when I take Tony somewhere. If it is in any way inappropriate I would understand. Do other folks bring non-greys with them? Thanks Lori

Banjo and Bracken will be there (with us in tow). I think they will need their coats for this one! Brrr! Please someone decide which day - Saturday or Sunday? Either one is fine for us.

It's not raining and today is a bit better for us than Sun, so we are planning to go for the walk today. Unless it is raining when it's time to leave. Hope to see everyone there.
