We would never run them at the gun club when they are shooting.
I'm afraid that while I am immobilized with my knee I have to rely on my husband to exercise the dogs. He takes risks I wouldn't. ' Nuff Said!

Carolyn, sadly the fact is that some people think they know better than ALL of the adoption groups in North America, and ALL of the greyhound experts. Someone who continues to let their greyhound run loose, even after it's been hit by a car, and then even posts about it, just doesn't get it, and likely won`t ever get it. She will be posting in Remembrance about it, and still not get it.
What makes it worse is that there really is no benefit whatsoever, other than saving the few seconds it takes to clip a lead on. I think it`s just plain old ego, people like to think that their greyhound loves them so much that they would never run away. Never mind the thousands of years of genetics screaming in every fibre of their greyhound`s body to run after that leaf blowing down the street - they are different, their greyhound always listens.
