Jasper has been eating raw for over a month now. His water consumption is much much less which makes sense because of increased moisture in the meat. However, since I returned from Christmas holiday, he seems to be ignoring his water dish. His pee is pretty concentrated when I get home from work (again not surprising after being alone for 8 hours). I didn't see the concentration of his early morning pee in the yard today. He didn't pee on our walk. I let him out before leaving for work and again no pee. THoughts?

Both of mine drink very little and some days I am sure they don't drink at all. I put about an 1/8 of a cup of water with their breakfast (beef mix) and then they "might" take a lap or two of water after their evening walk. They have very strong urine but it was that way when I brought them home and they were on kibble. They did drink more water then. Have no idea about the no pee part.

Mine very rarely drink water. Rudy I am pretty sure drinks every 3 days (and only from the toilet - gotta love that dog!) ;D
I do refill the water dish every day at dinner but I have to dump out most of yesterday's as the dish is usually still pretty full.

Leo is the same. He drank from his water dish when he first came home but since we have been having problems with his bowels he doesn't. He has been on rice for a few weeks so I have just been adding water to it to make sure he is getting enough. Now that we are adding meat he is staying hydrated and I don't need to add as much water to the rice. His pees are not usually concentrated but he needs to go more often now (but we are still checking for an UTI)

Chicky is on a modified raw diet - I would say her water consumption is less than when on just "dog food" but she still enjoys a good drink several times during the day. I change her main water dish every night but it is never empty. Can't really tell you how much she drinks as I have 2 dog water bowls & 4 cat bowls of water in various places around the house. Chicky & the cats like to share each others water - quite funny to watch Chicky drink out of a little cat dish and the cats on the raised feeding station having a good lap of water - I should post pictures of that!!

You should! Jasper is drinking from the bowl, mostly when she gets thawed ground meat where a lot of the moisture has drained during thawing. He is one happy boy. When his feeding towel comes out he runs to his bed and plunks himself down with such joy, ready to dig in. If I toss a turkey neck to him in the yard, he throws it up in the air with such gusto. I love watching him.
