So i was cooking supper the other night. Chicken with baked potatoes and veggies. I had everything on the counter ready to cook when i hear a knock at the door. So my mother and i chat for a bit then she leaves and i go back to the kitchen.
The veggies were still on the counter, the chicken was still on the counter but the baked potato was missing.
I started looking on the floor for said potato, i thought that it must have rolled off the counter and had to be nearby on the floor. I mean potatoes don't just up and run off on you. The chicken was safe so i had ruled out Gord being the thief at this point.
After a thorough search of the kitchen failed to turn up the potato i was rather confused.
Then i hear a munching noise from the living room and i went to investigate. There was Gordon on the sofa munching on the missing potato.
I still think it's funny that he left the chicken breasts (that were easier to reach) and stole the potato instead.
Needless to say i left him alone with his trophy, heck it was the least i could do after he was kind enough to leave the chicken.

What a cute story, maybe Gordie was feeling vegetarian that night. Not one, but two (couch) potatoes ended up on the couch!

Greyhounds are so odd...a choice between chicken and a potato...and he picks a potato... ;D Glad you left him alone to finish it!
