Well Apollo ate 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies last night. the cookies were for a school bake sale and somehow he managed to get the container open without destroying it. He left the container on the counter but completely empty. My son took him to the vet this morning and he is OK other than an upset stomach. Funny, Gigi will counter surf for meat but would never give anything like that a second thought!

What a silly guy! I'm lucky Roman is not at all a counter surfer...but get him near any sort of dirt or grass and he'll chomp away for hours!! I'm glad to hear he's okay though after all that chocolate

He must be related to my kids. LOL Every one of mine wouldn't think twice to take anything off the counter.. especially Miss Echo. We have to baby gate off the kitchen when we go out because of her!

Our first grey, Tex, once stoled a pound of butter off the counter!!! We wondered where the butter went for almost 2hrs before we put 2 and 2 together!
Glad to hear Apollo is ok.

Well the funniest thing was, when Dave and i got up to go to work we noticed the empty container on the counter but we thought Adrian (our oldest, the one who needed the cookies for the bake sale) had just bagged them up the night before - so we didn't think anything of it. The container was not damaged and there were no crumbs on the counter - nothing - no hint that it was Apollo. I got Adrian up at 7 just before I was to leave for work and he called me as I was heading out of town to ask "Mom where are my cookies?" LOL So fortunately I was just passing the grocery store so i ran in, bought more and ran them home. It was even funnier when I called to tell my new boss to tell her I was running late "because the dog ate the bake sale cookies!" Of course about 45 minutes later Apollo started throwing up and having the big D never a dull moment in this house! Apollo is fine this morning very energetic and happy. Sue
