well Apollo now has a new home!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dave, Gigi and I went to GRA tonight and it was love at first sight (not from Gigi though ). He is gorgeous and BIG! All the way home he stood on the folded down back seats of the truck and rested his head on Dave's shoulder He is pacing around the house right now and yes he has been put outside, but he seems a little stressed. i gave him a dose of rescue so hopefully it will settle him down. Gigi is not so sure about all of this but she has put him in his place a couple of times now and I suspect will continue to do so Well off to try and get some sleep not sure how much I am going to get as he is panting and pacing - Gigi just went straight to her crate!

Well the first night was interesting - he paced, whined and just generally wandered all over the house all night long! between Dave and i we might have got 2 hours sleep - worse than having a newborn but wouldn't have it any other way. He is settling down today but he is very curious - the minute Dave or I move he gets up and follows - too funny. But he is still whining and pacing somewhat. Anyway, Gigi is doing better with him today which is good! The only thing left to decide is if Apollo will need a crate, Gigi is still in hers - she is in it all the time even when we are home if the door is open. Apollo doesn't seem to be too interested in the crate other than to just check it out but come Monday when everyone is back to work and school and I start a new job in Mississauga so not able to come home at lunch if needed. I don't come home now and Gigi is just fine in her crate till the kids come home from school. But not sure what to do with Apollo. Any suggestions? Thanks, Sue

Way to go Apollo! You could always let Apollo have free reign but muzzle him with the muzzle he's sent home with. This is how I trained my guys to be good in the house. After a while, the things that are always there, are not so interesting anymore I'm so happy for you!!!

Thanks, Sue Hey Sue....have you tried leaving them/him alone at all since you got him to see how he does or has someone always been with him. You might want to try it before leaving him for an entire day alone. It might give you a bit of relief knowing he's ok alone rather than worrying all day at work and it would be good for him too.

Both Apollos have now been adopted. We took Tigger to GRA last week to have a visit while we went on our honeymoon and Bill had Apollo (the girl one) all ready to make friends with Tigger...and it all worked out! Thats awesome that you adopted Apollo. He is such a cutie!
