Wynston was Gordies best friend and his mommy reads this site so i thought i would post about Wynnie.
I met him about 5 years ago when he was 10 years old. I was feeling kind of blue and he came over to greet me. He was blind (thanks to cataracts) and he couldn't walk too good but he was alswys up for a tummy rub.
Wynnies mom Pat was always there for me through thick and thin so it was only natural that when i finally got a pupper they would be friends. Wynnie never quite understood where the rest of my dogs were ... i think that he thought they were floating legs that liked to sniff his bumm.
He was the only Jack Russell that i have ever met that i liked.
I remember him wandering around the park while his mum and i watched him. I remember him curling up on my feet at Pat's house begging for a tummy rub or a cookie. I remember his winter coat that never seemed to fit him just right (he was a little porky).
He passed over the bridge on Sunday night after a long battle with arthritis, blindness and tumors. He was a fighter and he hung on as long as he could for his mom.
I know that now he's running around catching squirrels and chasing after the other pups ... no more pain.
So ... cheers to Wynston ... a great Jack and an even better friend.

I think Wynston's mommy will be quite touched by your tribute. I didn't even know the little fella but it brought a tear to my eye. Run free little Wynnie. You are happy and pain-free now at the bridge.

What a beautiful tribute.
Pat, I'm so sorry for your loss. Words seem so inadequate at these times. I hope your heart heals quickly.
