So sorry to hear of the loss of your Millie - she was well loved. She sounds like she was quite the character - especially with the food 'switching'! Love the ETS and the roach photo - what a cutie! Run free, sweet Millie!

What a beauty, and lovely character, no wonder she captured your heart.
I, like so many others on here, love the 3rd photos - her bright joyful essence shines out from her eyes right into my heart.
I'm so glad she found you and you gave her such a wonderful caring and loving home.
I also love the last photo where she's snuggling up to the other greyhound.

I am so sorry for your loss. You have written beautiful tribute to a beautiful girl. It shows how much she is loved and the picture of that lovely white face roaching took my breath away. She will never be far away you know, you just have to think about her and you will feel her near.
Gods Speed Millie

I'm so very sorry. What a pretty silly little girl. I'm glad she lasted as long as she did; I wish it could have been longer.
Godspeed Millie.

What a sweet tribute to your sweet Millie. You not only took in a senior but gave her a life full of lots of love. You complimented each others lives and she left knowing how much she was loved. The age doesn't matter. They will never be with us long enough. R.I.P. Millie. Run free at the bridge with our other angels.

Beautiful tribute to Millie's life with you. I always thought she had a special glint in her eyes, as though she knew something about life that we didn't. Despite being a bounce, having LG, having a week hind, your girl knew how to love life. My absolute favorite pic is the third one - she doesn't seem to know she was 14. Hugs to you and your family, Joanne and scritches to Riggin and Holly - I'm sure they're feeling a loss right now too.

There is always something special about the seniors who know how to live life despite what is "wrong" with them, isn' there? Milly certainly knew. Life is about taking each special moment as it comes, rejoicing in the little wonders, in the amazing things that are in each day, in the things we can do (like sneaking food and treats when others aren't looking, napping in the best spot in the house, insisting others pay attention to you and only you because you are the most important, and doing things you know you aren't supposed to "just one more time"). How blessed you were to have had each other. And how sorely she will be missed now. !4 years may be a good age, but it is never enough time. hugs to you in the days that come.
Run like the wind Sweet Millie, with the other Angels over the Bridge.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Millie. I love the 3rd picture, she looks like such a gentle soul. Rest in peace Millie. Hugs to you and your family over the coming weeks.
They are never with us long enough but it's sound like Millie real filled the hearts of your family in the time you had her. You are very lucky to have her.

Joanne, I am so very sorry to learn of Millie's passing and your tribute of her is wonderful. She was one lucky girl to find someone like you with your fun and sense of humor. I'll bet she thought she had arrived in heaven already when she came to your home so full of love Martha
