Hello all, Just wanted to recommend a place to get sweaters for those getting greys for the first time and prepping for winter (or just want to update their grey's wardrobe). As a new parent to Leya in April, I found it extremely difficult to find clothes for her that fit (Leya is very long for a Grey but short for a grey, not your average proportions). We ordered custom from the States but it was expensive to ship. And we have been looking for a suitable winter sweater for 8months! Then we found Mary. She hand makes woollen sweaters for your dog, with your measurements, and can customize it w your choice of colours (plain, striped etc) and you can get your dogs name on the back too! I got a snood that fits snugly over Leya's ears (or can be also rolled down just as a turtleneck) and longer "arm" sweaters. It has a tapered back and looks fantastic! I'm so happy with it and just wanted to share! If you want one, you can email Mary at k9sweatersbymary@hotmail.ca and she will get back to you really fast. Our sweater cost $80, we got it in 4 days, and walked to pick it up in downtown Toronto (they live in GTA so she is also really flexible too which we appreciated!). FYI I would remind her to put in a leash hole. Heres our lil girl shouting out to her American roots in her blue and red striped sweater! Attachment Deleted

The photo is in the other post. Leya looks so cute! I'm going to get in contact with the lady and have one made. I like the long sleeves, I've never seen one with sleeves before.
Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the information. Yes, get in contact w Mary! She's great! You can get the long sleeves tapered (easy to roll up and down) or slightly elasticized which is good. Don't go too long as when they run it may go over the paws. But if its for simple walking, the long sleeves are sooo good.

I've been in contact with Mary. Just waiting for her to email me colour samples. Thanks for the tip re tapered sleeves and length. My daughter lives in Toronto, so it will be easy to pick up.
Thanks!

Keiraleya - I got my coat for Allie. We wore it today for the first time and one lady actually rolled down her window to tell me how great the sweater is! She looks absolutely adorable in it.
I highly recommend having one made from Mary, a great lady to deal with.
I had mine shipped, the cost being only an additional $10.00
As soon as I figure it out, I'll post a picture.
