Oh Shari I am so very very sorry for your loss. I haven't been on lately and just saw this. My deepest condolences. Frankie was much too young. I remember when I volunteered for a bit, it was the same time that Frankie was there. He was such a character! Pulling his crate door intowards himself or shredding the bedding to the tiniest pieces. I have always loved hearing and seeing the stories of your pups. I told my Mom about Frankie and she is so very sad and offers her condolences too. She met Frankie this summer at the BBQ and thought that he was handsome and a lovely personality.
He had a rich and love filled life...and he knew that. You are wonderful to your pups and they know it. I know Frankie appreciated everything you did for him. Godspeed dear Frankie.
*hugs* Miriam

Shari: We've just cured an on-going computer problem and so I've only learned to-day of Frankie's demise and my heart breaks for you. Your tribute is marvelous and we all can share in what a funny boy he was - just loaded with personality.
We all feel FIVE is much too young for a dog to die - but cancer strikes anyone/anydog at any age and any part of the anatomy.
I trust the rest of your pack are providing comfort and that they, by now, are over their mourning period. Animals are much more resistant than people.
I'm glad we "bullied" you into adopting Johnny when he came to GRA and we learned he was Frankie's full brother. You'll always have some part of Frankie with you as long as you have Johnny.
Please accept my very belated condolences.
Carol
