A quick weather update..... In Tassie today Fine with a top temp of 21C, Though I am glad to hear about the wonderful temperatures "down under", I hope you'll show some compassion with us Canadians when we move into the depth of winter.

Jiffer, that's to bad. My hubby always says the same thing. Go to work and its dark come home and its dark. He always asks my kids if the sun actually came up. In Tassie do you get snow when it is your winter or do you get "mild" winters? My kids are actually just starting a unit in geography on Monday about Australia/New Zealand I will have to include some study of Tasmania as well.

I'm soon going to invest in one of those Sun lights... just so I can get some sun. LOL I fear I'm getting paler!!! (for those who don't know me, I practically glow in the dark as it is)

It's a beautiful Sunny day!!! It's only 2C here but I am sitting near the windows at work and the sun makes up for it. The kids loved their early morning walk in the sun

Well it is a really nasty day (Fri Dec 1) here in St.Marys. It is sleeting and neither dog wants to go outside. The sound of the sleet hitting the windows makes me glad we are inside our nice warm house. I know that before long I will have to take the boys outside in it. Yuck!! However it is Dec 1 it could be worse I cold have had to shovel snow already . Do you let the dogs dictate when/if they want to go outside and do you make their walks shorter when it gets cold?

It's gross here today too. It's going to get cold in our house today... we're having a new furnace installed... BRRRRR We've been getting rain at the moment but I'd suspect the sleet is on it's way.

Okay so it is Tuesday Dec 5, It is sunny but cold. The sun is glistening on the fresh fallen snow. I took the pups for a walk this morning and they loved playing in it. I want to take some pics later today of them. I don't like the snow but today it looks so beautiful (from inside my nice warm house).
