Hey everyone! Just a quick intro here. My name is Joe and I live in Sault Ste. Marie. I adopted Nita's Rowdy from GRA last August and renamed him Alagash (Al for short). He's a big (86 lbs.) fawn boy. He is amazing! Anyway, my girlfriend and I are driving down tomorrow to pick up another one. This one will be a female (hopefully). I hear they have a couple black ones ready. That was what I had orginally planned to adopt before Al bounded out of his crate and jumped on Bill's van when I took him for a walk. So...... hello to all!

I got to thinking about the black females and last time I was there I thought Suzy was being adopted but I see she's still available. She was a sweetie! If only I had lots of house space and the money to go along with it!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Nice to see a few northernerns here. Laura and I ended up adopting Rosa Martina. She is so sweet! Her picture is still on the website so you can see her there. Maybe I'll post more later. The drive was a bit hectic but she's settling down nicely.
We've been out at the camp (read: cottage for you southerners) with no internet access hence the delay in my response.
My vet's receptionist mentioned that there was a couple of hounds in town from London for the summer and would I mind if she gave them my number. I told her go right ahead, but I haven't heard from them.

Rosa is a beauty! She looks a lot like my girl Nina (Gilmore Girl). We adopted her in May. Welcome to the board!
