Hi everyone, My other half and I drove up to GRA yesterday and adopted the beautiful Pebles Go Getter. She'll be coming home in a week or two, and I could not be more excited! I've been wanting a greyhound for a couple of years now (and researching them almost that long lol), and we finally decided we were ready to adopt. She will be our first dog, and she seems perfect for us. She is so sweet...She had both of us hooked instantly, and she knew it lol. I look forward to sharing pictures and stories with all of you once she comes home!

Congrats. You will be rewarded in so many ways for bringing her into your family. Greyhounds are incredible creatures. The next two weeks will be long.

Congratulations and welcome!!! She's such a cutie. The next two weeks will probably crawl by but it'll give you a chance to do lots of shopping and reading!

Congrats! Your story is very similar to ours. We adopted our firsy grey, Raj (UCME Warp Speed) from GRA and brought him home on Feb. 7. We too have been researching and waiting for a couple of years. All I can say is that our family is so fortunate to have had Raj adopt us! I now undersdand why many grey people welcome more than one grey into their family. Enjoy! Kathryn

I always liked the way she looked. White on the tips of all 4 paws and the tip of her tail. She's just so cute. The forum will be watching for pics of her in her new forever home. Congrats on your first greyhound. I have to warn you. They are addicting. 1 usually leads to more. lol

Yes ... greyhounds are very addicting .... I'm on #8, many on the forum have several. It's like you can't get enough of these sweet souls. The "wait" is going to be the most difficult but it'll be so well worth it once she goes home. Looking forward to photos and updates ...
