Was watching the Bugs Bunny and Tweety show tonight, one of the clips had Bugs saving a lure at a dog track.

I've never heard of a lurcher ... looked it up and it's very interesting. Some of them are pretty good looking. My Kawaii is a lurcher because she isn't a purebred. She is mostly grey but not entirely. I know I am biased (as any pup mom would be) but yes, some of them are pretty good looking ;D Lisa Jasper and I met a Lurcher pup tonight on our walk. I'd talked to the woman a few weeks ago - she was awaiting her foster pup. This pup and 4 sisters were rescued from Ohio. They're greyhound/Aussie shepherd crosses. Magpie, whom we met, is a gorgeous dark brindle about 8 weeks old. When the mother was rescued she was emaciated and near death. The owners had docked all but one of the pups tails - a home doc, not done by a vet. She is just gorgeous. It was instant love. She and Jasper were instant buddies. I swear they know a grey when they see one.
