P.S to the above thread. Dexter is not allowed in the Kicthen and he doesn't even try it anymore. If need be use a baby gate, taking it off when your in there. Greys' pretent they don't really "understant life outside of the track but they're just very good actors. He tries to put one toe over the border, i jaut look at him and he backs off...very funny really but laugh when there not looking!! Hope this helps.

i just watch the video well that dog has no problem to get it on lolllllll this is just a watching tower lolll my wire fox terrier does it on the table so she can see on both windows with no problem my only advise they sell pad that you put anywhere to stop the dog to go on different place for some people is the coach, near the door and for you is the counter you place the mat and when the dog go on it it stars to vibrate so the dog goes away. i saw one with the dog whisperer for a boxer that goes over a six foot fence but i think that one was electric shock (outch) just try to check this option maybye it work for you...good luck with cleo the jumping hound

Have you tried closing the blinds or putting up curtains?

This thread was posted in January of 2012, so I think they solved the problem. Actually, this hound is a camper, so I know they solved the problem lol. Have you tried closing the blinds or putting up curtains?

WHen we brought Roo and Auggie home, they had pudding poops, the fecal tests came back normal and my vet told us to add cooked rice to there kibble and plain yogurt (for flatulance). This worked really well. Once there poops were normal we weaned them off the rice slowly.
As far as the other problem goes, I know with keeping cats off of the table, I have put out bowls of vinegar. I have NO idea if this works on dogs! I do know, it made ME crave french fries LOL.

campgreyhoundI figured as much but for those of us who may struggle with this in the future this could be an option to set up for success.

Hey,
I tried the pumpkin thing and it worked okay but I found it a little pricy and not super reliable. Ended up Heidi had worms, then parasites, then yet another parasite. So get that poop checked. At the recommendation of another greyhound owner, I added probiotics to her food and viola! I don't know if it was the medication or the probiotics but we now have solid poop.
How sad is it that seeing that solid poop every day makes me so happy?
