We were all ready to come to the picnic for a bit before I had to work but Tigger was a bad boy so we couldn't come. My husband said we should just go but I told him that Tigger needed to know he was wrong, and taking away something he was looking forward to was a good way to teach him what he did was bad. Abby was quite upset, she was looking forward to seeing all her friends from the kennel. Maybe next year.:-(

Sorry I missed the picnic, everyone! I was so disappointed that I had to work but I'm glad Darryl could come hang out with everyone.... I will book the day off next year! Karen Sorry you missed it too Karen! It was the first time for Booter, his "Grandma" and I. There was so much going on and it was nice to see more dogs being adopted. We had a GREYT time! Booter dressed up as a camel for the "parade". There weren't many costumes but they were all very well made and we were all winners! I was VERY happy!! ;D With our winnings Booter and I went straight to the Dogma London booth and got the "Blowtorch" blue flame collar I had been eyeballing on your awesome website for some time. Absolutely LOVE it!! Of course now we have to save up for the matching leash... Thanks so much to Bill & Freddie, and all those involved, for such a fun day. We'll be back next year!

Sorry to those that had to work, I did make it and enjoyed myself, It appears a few pups managed to find a new homes, and as I was pulling away in the van I noticed a couple from Woodstock loading up their new grey.

Hi everyone - We had lots of fun, too. Sy went home with a new collar (thanks, Jenn) and was pretty much asleep most of the way home. Too bad we had to leave early as we had a dinner party to attend. It was great to match so many names with faces - what a great bunch of folks. Boy, that kennel IS a dangerous place. I had to get out quick or else. Even if I knew it would have been too early for us to get another pup. Happy to see that the gorgeous Amy found a home. Sy also saw his sister, Brenda's Secret. Kids definitely had a blast - can't wait for next year! Lisa

redman, the Picnic is an annual event.. it'll happen again next June However, don't despair, another greyhound event, Hugs for Hounds is in August. It's a lot like this event. It was nice to see everyone! Tina and I had some queries about her wooden stands that I dressed up for the raffle... if you're interested in one of those, contact Tina (aka Tinastroops) and she'll arrange details with ya

Hi everyone -
we took some really good pics of the pups and their families during the picnic.
How/Where do we post the pics we took, and hopefully others who did the same?
