Now that we have Shadow, we have one dog with floppy ears and one with pointy. I really wanted to adopt Atlanta, who had one of each, and then we'd have 'the whole set' LOL.
Anyway, I thought this would be a fun poll to post. What kind of ears do your dogs have? You can select more than one answer of course! And I tried to make it as 'inclusive' of multi-grey homes as possible.

Ranger's ears barely are able to 'stand at attention' and flop over, Force's ears stand up more than Ranger's so I put them down as pointy but now that I think of it I probably should have said 2 floppers.

One of each. Araley's "Bat-Ears": (Sometimes they "perk" to the side:) Dexter's floppers: The cool thing about Dexter's ears is that the one almost always flops more to the side and the other more to the front. His only stand up when the wind's blowing them up. Araley's never flop but she's got the "wings" (perked to the side) and the "batman ears" (perked straight up).

Kawaii has floppy rosebud ears. They can only go pointy if she is lying down and they happen to fall open that way...never when she is upright hahaha!

angel Icarus' were one up and one down. Atlas and Orion have "envelope ears" like Dexter's above. When their interest is piqued enough, their shadow appears like they have a square head. LOL Echo has floppy ears. Uber has more traditional greyhound or rosebud ears. They're rigid, can stand up straight if he chooses, but more often they're tucked neatly against the side of his head or in the "flying nun" pose. "Rosebud" "Flying Nun", rear view

Velvet's ears are normally in the "flying nun" pose, tucked back against her head, untill something catches her attention , and then they come fully up for a short while.

Emily has rosette ears. Then again, her ears are very expressive. They perform according to the occasion.

Hotwire has floppy ears, Boo and Hope can stand them up when they want, but tend to have the "rosebud" type, and most of you know that Charger has very pointy-up-earsies!

Hobbes has the traditional Greyhound ears. He usually has them held back but he puts them in many different positions depending on his mood. Wally has big floppy goofy ears with the left ear held slightly back and to the side and the right ear folded over the front of his head.

What about 'helicopter' ears? Sticking flat out to the side?
