mom2caliloka I agree. I have my little girl that usually stays close to me and my husband has his big boy who adores him. I couldn't imagine not having a grey on either side of me when I sit down to watch TV. It's true that as social animals I think they do better with another grey around but all of these pups are so lucky to have finally found loving homes through Bill's hard work that any number is the right number.

We have two because Bill is a hypnotist, haha. We intended on getting one but he's quite the salesman. Thoroughly glad his magic worked on us. He should start selling minivans in the parking lot, as his prediction we'd get one of those came true, too! Don't tell him we've got a van now or he'll make us adopt more.

His jedi mind tricks didn't work on me, I almost got two together, but managed to stay strong and got one... it doesn't take long for these creatures to convince you THEMSELVES that they're so awesome you could get another... I'm staying away from Bill for that reason; I'm already half-convinced!

Yep, I think our girl has convinced us that another would be great because she's so great. Looking forward to the 14th.....

When I first talked to Bill over the phone, he asked me how many we were looking to adopt. I said just one for now. He said, "we'll talk about that when you get here" LOL !!!!!!!! We went with the intentions of adopting 1 male, probably fawn. We came out with one large black male, and one white and brindle female. In case I haven't said it before...................Thank you Bill !

don't you love it when you actually do come home with just ONE .... as you're leaving Bill says "see you in a year"
you laugh and say "no one is more than enough"
6 months later you're thinking about #2
then a week before the picnic you get the call .... "if you pick one out this week it'll be ready in time for the picnic"
you con hubby into going ... just for a look ... not to actually get one.
next thing you know you're running to the nearest ATM and looking for a new crate.

We technically have two, though one has been recuperating at GRA almost since we got him. I was showing my boyfriend the adoptables list because I LOVE Hand's markings and suddenly he's cooing over Amy and half-jokingly talking about a third. This from the man who wasn't convinced we should even get one at first. Then it was that one would be OK. Then we settled on two. We've agreed that until my tuition is paid off and I'm back in school we really CAN'T afford it. That being said, once it is and assuming I have the part-time job I'm supposed to....we might be making a visit to GRA early September if she's still there

I won't look at the adoptables page because it's just too tempting. Within a day of having Ava hubby remarked that he could see us having two. We're going to look closer to November and get ourselves a very special 'Xmas' gift!!

Bill is a very good salesman ..... he is hard to say no to. We had full intentions of getting one "for now" and next thing we knew we had two adoption sheets out and we were signing away .... I wouldn't have it any other way. Also, we are now looking into buying a new car that the dogs fit in - so much for my idea of getting a little car (Toyota Yaris). Can you just see us all in that car? AS IF!

We fit Araley and Dexter in the back of a 2-door Sunfire... it can be done! We had only a 2-door cavalier for years for Hope and Hotwire. Not a chance now ;D
