Heck yeah! 2 is better than 1!! ;D 3 is even better than 2... After having 4 and now 3, I couldn't imagine having any less then 3. There is just something about them and how they are with each other...even other greys they don't know. They are just a special breed of dog thats like no other.

We just added a grey to our family. When I told my husband the yard needed to be fenced all he said was "we are going to end up with three". (We had a Lab then adopted our grey). I simply responded "Yup". He took a few days to feel his way around living in a house but now he plays and gets into stuff and sleeps on my daughter's bed like he has been here for years. The Lab just gets out of his way when he starts running around the house. It is so enjoyable to have and our 4yr. old lab is alot energetic.

To ccarol about the Windsor bylaw. You might want to check it out further because London also has a bylaw but when you really look into it the bylaw states that it is 2 dogs per person in a household who are over 18 years of age. Good luck. We have always had three dogs with tags and no problem at all.

We just picked up two from GRA and we love having them both! When we go out for walks they like to stick together, at home they are both curious about the same things but at times defenitely enjoy their own spaces. I know it is more work with two. They both have such different personalities and I enjoy that, both dogs kind of remind us of eachother and find it so very interesting. She is the boss, and He is the quiet one.....

We posted pictures of them in the " Adopting this weekend..Nov 19" thread. Valerie is the white and Shuffle is the dark brindle. we love waking up with them in the morning as we are all stretching before we get up and out of bed. The two of them sleep right beside us on their beds and if we get up, they get up. I look forward to many years of the same thing!

We have 4 greys. When we move we will probably adopt another, plus our Paisley when she finishes her racing career. Plus, we want to adopt a whippet.

We have three greys at present. We started with Hannah and got her a friend (Pepper) 4 months later. Hannah never ran until we got Pepper and then they had a rip-roaring time together. When Hannah left us in January, Pepper was so sad that we soon acquired Ferris (March) and most recently Maggie (August). Food consumption has gone up but so has the love......

Phoebe had a "brother" - Rusty (Russian Wolfhoud/Shepard mix) for many years but he passed away last year. We are now thinking about... ok, wanting to (just a matter of when) get another grey

We got two because 1. DH thought it'd be 'pimpin' to have two boys and that we'd be the coolest people on the block (which we definitely are. The other dogs in the neighborhood are all yappy and scraggly) 2. We heard horror stories about separation anxiety and felt two dogs were better than one with explosive Big D.
I must say, sometimes it's a bit difficult walking them - the sidewalks are narrow (especially with snow) and we don't have a backyard so trying to pick up poo they decided to drop almost in the street while wrangling them with the other hand is a bit...trying. I'm still not convinced two was the best idea. But I love them both! One day, when we have a house, I'd love to get another or another dog.

With two hounds, you get a great set of bookends on your couch:
